This Booking and Cancellation Policy shall be read in conjunction with Dive Sphere’s general Terms and Conditions. By booking a package/service with Dive Sphere, guests agree to the following terms:

Dive & Stay PackagePrices are quoted in SGD (we may issue invoice with other currencies upon request). Due to operational constraints, package dives are not transferable among dive locations, i.e. Manado Bay, Bunaken and Lembeh Strait. Package dives are not transferable to night dives. For unused dives If for any reason, guests miss dives which were available and readily offered by Dive Sphere, the unused dives are both non-transferrable and non-refundable. Unused dives by any individual guest are not transferrable to another guest’s dive package. For dives missed as a result of Dive Sphere, a dive credit may be issued for a subsequent trip with Dive Sphere. Hotel rooms are non-transferable and non-refundable. Nature conditions are beyond our control and nature related issues are non-refundable.

Booking ConfirmationUpon booking, a 50% deposit within 10 days of booking is required for confirmation. The balance is due 30 days prior to trip commencement. Any booking made with less than 30 days prior to trip commencement must be paid in full within 7 days of the booking.

Cancellation PolicyWe understand there might be unfortunate circumstances where you can’t make it for your long-awaited dive vacation. Our cancellation policy helps us maintain the best dive experience each time you’re back diving with Dive Sphere. Where situation allows, we allow guests to postpone and utilise their package within 1 year provided the postponement request is made more than 60 days prior to check in. However, if a cancellation is unavoidable, the following shall apply: Bookings which are cancelled more than 60 days prior to check in, 50% of the deposit will be forfeited and monies will be returned, less any fees incurred by Dive Sphere. If bookings are cancelled between 60 and 31 days prior to check in, the total deposit will be forfeited. If cancellation occurs within 30 days of arrival, for any reason, all monies will be forfeited. Guests who are late on arrival or need an early departure due to unforeseen circumstances such as missed connections or late airplanes etc., any unused dives or hotel stays in the package are non-refundable/non-transferable. *Guests are encouraged to have a travel and medical insurance to cover any of the above in case of unforeseen circumstances or medical emergencies.

Payment TransferAll payments for Dive Sphere services (e.g. dive packages, courses and hotel bookings etc.) are transferred to our business account (under the business entity – Adventure Quest Travel Pte. Ltd.). For Singapore based customers, Dive Sphere recommends using FAST banking transfer or PayNOW. For International customers, Dive Sphere uses Wise (www.wise.com) as our preferred platform for international wired transfer. All fees associated with international transfers are to be borne by customers and all payments must be received in full. The amount Dive Sphere receives must match the invoice.

Travel InsuranceCoverage: Travel insurance provides protection against unexpected events that could disrupt or cancel your trip, such as flight cancellations, lost baggage, trip delays, or medical emergencies while traveling to and from your destination. Medical Coverage: It may also cover medical expenses incurred during your trip, including emergency medical treatments, hospital stays, and medical evacuations if necessary. Trip Interruption: Travel insurance can reimburse you for non-refundable expenses if your trip is cut short due to unforeseen circumstances. Pre-existing Conditions: Some travel insurance policies offer coverage for pre-existing medical conditions. Be sure to read the policy details to understand the extent of coverage.

Scuba Diving InsuranceSpecialized Coverage: Scuba diving insurance specifically covers risks associated with underwater activities, including decompression sickness, emergency medical treatment, and evacuation costs related to scuba diving accidents. Dive Equipment Coverage: It may also cover the loss or damage of your dive equipment. Dive Trip Cancellation: Some policies offer coverage for canceled or interrupted dive trips due to adverse weather conditions, equipment malfunctions, or other unforeseen circumstances. Certification Level: Check whether the scuba diving insurance covers divers of all certification levels and depths, as some policies have restrictions.

Disclosure: Be honest and accurate when providing information about your health and diving experience to ensure that you are adequately covered in case of an incident. Contact Information: Keep the contact information for your insurance providers readily accessible during your trip. Documents: Make copies of your insurance policies, certificates, and any other relevant documents, and store them in a secure place.
